| The Trail of Lights |  | The Trail of Lights Festival is an annual Austin holiday tradition and celebration held in Zilker Park.
The Trail of Lights is a mile long display of 43 lighted scenes. The festival begins with the lighting of the Zilker Tree, a 155 feet tall, 180 feet diameter lighted tree consisting of 3,309 bulbs on 39 streamers strung from Austin's historical Moonlight Tower.
The trail of lights ceremony takes place on Sunday, Dec. 9th and runs through the Dec.23rd.

Why test your breast milk for alcohol? Alcohol in your breast milk can have a number of negative impacts on you and your baby:
Let-down and milk production: Studies show that alcohol can inhibit your let-down and milk production (one study showed a 23% decrease in milk volume with one drink1).

Each class is a fun interactive way for you to learn new skills for bonding with your baby including:
Non-verbal touch communication
Reading infant cues
Relaxation and stress release
Connect with other mothers from your community to share stories and problem solve issues of motherhood.
This class is open to parents-to-be, parents, grandparents and caregivers of infants.
Class size is limited to 8 babies and their caretakers. The class is free. Please RSVP directly to Charlotte at 497-8276

First Night Austin is a public celebration of the arts that revives the ancient tradition of marking the passage of time with art, ritual, and festivity. It is a family-friendly, affordable, and alcohol free New Year's Eve festival. Join us on December 31st and help create a new tradition for Austin that celebrates the culturally rich and artistically diverse place we call home.
Don't be confused by the name of the event. First Night Austin 2007 takes place on the last day of this year, December 31, 2006, 2pm- 12am. We will look ahead collectively to welcome the New Year with hope and optimism.
